+Stainless steel as ideal material for water and wastewater treatment technology
- Freshwater is a scarce resource that increasingly needs to be produced by purifying seawater, wastewater or contaminated industrial water. In this type of technology, our duplex stainless steels are widely used due to their high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. The use of stainless steel in water and wastewater treatment technology guarantees good water quality and low maintenance costs.
- Duplex stainless steel has proven to be an excellent cost-effective solution for large-scale thermal desalination plants, while 2507 2205 is the material of choice for the widely used reverse osmosis desalination technology. Duplex stainless steels are also used in wastewater technology and are ideal for freshwater pipeline transport or storage systems.
Types of steel supplied
