Steel drives the world
  • Versatile and always recyclable, it is the material of choice for ships, rail and trucking, helping these modes of transport continue to improve performance and environmental efficiency. Our steel products are used in the construction of a wide range of ships, including general cargo ships, container ships, cruise ships and large cruise ships transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG).
  • Stainless steel is an ideal material for marine and shipbuilding, especially in the ship and shipbuilding industry, where the weldability, durability and maintenance of the materials used are very important.

Types of steel supplied
  • Steel plate: The main component of the hull structure, accounting for about 60% to 65%, such as hull plate, deck plate and subdivision partition. Generally, steel plates with a thickness of 4mm and below are called thin plates, and those with a thickness of 4mm and above are called thick plates. . The size range of marine steel plates is generally: 6~10mm thick, 1200~3000mm wide, and 6000~14000mm long.
  • Section steel: its proportion in the hull structure is second only to that of steel plates, about 35% to 40%, and it is mainly used as the hull frame. According to its cross-sectional shape, it can be divided into: flat bar (flat bar), bulb bar (bulb bar), angle bar (angle bar – A/B), I-beam (I – bar), T-shaped steel (T – bar) And channel steel (channel bar), etc.
  • Cast steel and forged steel: Cast steel is often used for ship’s bow and stern posts, anchors, fairleads, bitts and stern tubes, while forged steel is often used for simple-shaped components such as rudder stocks and shafts.
  • Steel wire rope: It consists of a multi-strand steel wire rope core and a steel wire rope sleeve. It is often used for hoisting materials and equipment.
