These thermally processed EN 10210-round hollow section steel pipes are widely used in engineering applications and construction industry. Cold-formed hollow sections are produced by continuously forming steel strips at room temperature, passing them through a forming unit that gradually bends them into a circular shape. This circle then enters the welding unit, which continuously welds the edges of the strip into a longitudinal weld. After the welding station, the outer seams of the round tubes are removed and the final shape (round, square, rectangular) and precise dimensions of the tube are achieved by passing it through a sizing unit.
